Thanks to Clifford school for uploading some clips of the work we have doing this half term. Special to share these with parents. We’ve enjoyed a term of finding our voices – sounds / /songs and even instruments (see Rec weather songs) can help us with our noisy songs.

Exciting date for your diary: Saturday 1st October, Wesley Hall in Crookes.
There will be not one, but two concerts this year, with a tea and cake break between them.
The pupil concert (for those from beginners – around grade 2/3) will be first at 4.30-5.15, everyone will have the chance to perform a piece of their choice.
New: A performer’s concert for pupils post grade 3/4, those who have GCSE recitals, exam or festival sets to share. I am very excited by the quality of work some of the older children are producing, and look forward to sharing it with you all! 5.45 – 6.30
All proceeds will go to the Sheffield branch of the Alzheimer’s Society. Tickets on the door will be £3 for adults and £1 for children, these will include a voucher for a hot/cold drink and a piece of cake.
I’m already collating a volunteer list for refreshments and tickets on the door. Thank you to those who have offered so far, really helpful.
Huge thank you to everyone who performed in the end of year concert! 35 amazing young musicians showcasing their learning.
Big thank you also to Woodseats Baptist Church for allowing us to use their building free of charge so all the money raised could go to the Children’s hospital trust for their “Make it Better” Campaign, a fab £176.19

Huge congratulations go to Jenna for passing her grade 1 piano, Emily T for her grade 5, and George for his grade 6.
George’s grade 6 was from the new syllabus for this year, learnt in an incredibly short time frame, and beautifully played!
All 3 worked incredibly hard & I am extremely proud of their fabulous results.
Big thank yous and congratulations to Grace C and George for performing in Holy Trinity Millhouses church last night, as part of a charity concert in aid of Parkinson’s UK – fabulous performing from then both, especially in front of such a large audience!
